Jerry is a life long resident of Oregon. He has lived in Woodburn since 1971 and owned and operated Woodburn Florist for 30 of those years. He is a past president of the Chamber of Commerce, Woodburn Rotary, a past Junior First Citizen, planning commission member, school facilities committee, and various other community committees. He believes in Rotary's motto "Service above self." He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, upward basketball, and Bible study.

Jerry was recognized as Hallmark Properties Top Producer of the Year for 2006.
